Charity Golf Day 2027
We are thrilled to announce registrations for our annual Charity Golf Day 2027 are OPEN!
This year’s event will be in aid of Children’s services across the Somerset NHS Trust, providing play and sensory items to help our littlest patients cope with the stress and fear they experience during their treatment and appointments, allowing them to feel safe and calm.
These resources will make a real difference to the children receiving care on our children’s wards and in the community, so please come and join us on the 21st of May and create brighter days for our youngest patients.
Event Details
Date: Friday 21st May 2027
Time: Arrival from 9.30am, first tee off at 10am. Winner’s presentation and raffle draw at 6pm.
Location: Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club, Corfe, Taunton, Somerset, TA3 7BY
Team Fee:
- £300 per Team of 4
- £500 to Sponsor a Tee (includes a Team of 4)
Gameplay & Scoring: Best 2 from 4, Stableford scoring format with your handicap (players without a handicap will be capped at 28)
Tee Times (Important): Tee Times will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis within your chosen morning or afternoon slot (10-11am, 11-12pm, 12-2pm); your exact Tee Time will be given to you 2 weeks before the event.
We cannot guarantee an exact requested Tee Time, so please be prepared to arrive within your selected slot. The best way to avoid disappointment if you’d like a morning slot is to book early! 😊
Catering: You will be welcomed with a hot drink and bacon roll on arrival, and an event menu will be available on the day to choose your meal, after your round. We will also have our Halfway House available with refreshments.
In-Game Competitions: Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin and Beat the Pro will all be returning, with Beat the Pro in 2 and a Putting Competition being added for 2027!
Raffle: A raffle will be running on the day with a presentation in the evening (please let us know if you would like to donate a prize!)
